Road trip to Vintique Cycles

Took a trip to Stoke on Monday to catch up with Sean and drop off a load of paint we did for one of his customers. His new place is killer, perfect for what he's doing up there.

Go check out his site and shop if your in the area

New Year goings on

Christmas/new year was a busy period,

Carter sold his 48 and is on route to becoming a proud shovelhead owner!

James' XS is looking exactly the same as it did in the summer, I've heard a rumour that it'll be ready
for The Trip Out 2018.
We can only hope!!!

Chris' shovelhead has been going under some serious engine and cosmetic work, hopefully will be back together ready for summer

Also keep and eye on the shop for some flash sales ready for the a new line coming real soon!

Shovel strip down

Started the stripping the motor down last night

Found a bit of debris in the bottom, didn't look promising

Turns out three of the inner valve springs had snapped!

Couple bits of the spring got into the oil feed and ended up in the cylinder and took a chunk out of the piston

Scored the barrel pretty good

Next job is to inspect the oil pump then split the cases and hope there's no more damage in that.

To be continued.....
